Adopted at Fourteen

K was a foster child for most of her life and was adopted twice. Her first “forever home” adopted K and two other children. After a few years, at the age of six, they decided they no longer wanted her. They kept the two other children and K was put back in the foster care system for eight years until being adopted at fourteen. K is now twenty-four and lives with her adopted family with her two year old daughter.
